1. Quote of the week

Courage is not as much about going off to fight dragons as it is about facing our demons, tolerating our feelings, and not reacting so quickly, in order to hear what our emotions are trying to tell us.

2. Image of the week

This week’s image is a creation by Bodhisatva Vivek; it features the lyrics of a song by Ruth Bebermeyer, which Marshall Rosenberg’s book refers to. Thanks to Vivek for the permission to share this!

On dealing with regret

Marshall Rosenberg said: “When we make mistakes, we can use the process of NVC mourning and self-forgiveness to show us where we can grow instead of getting caught up in moralistic self-judgments.”

This recent article in the Washington Post talks about dealing with regret, with self-compassion. Click here to read the article.

Decision-making and hearing each other

Does decision making mean we all have to hear each other? Does putting emphasis on hearing each other accelerate or impede decision making? Miki Kashtan addresses this in a short video. Check out the channel for more resources on convergent facilitation and decision-making!
