The Center for Nonviolent Communication is holding its second worldwide gathering as we speak, and it’s not too late to sign up!

The theme for this gathering is: “How do we get along in extraordinary times?”Over 30 Certified Trainers will be presenting sessions on various topics; and sessions will be in English, Spanish and French.

The gathering is also a fundraiser for CNVC; due to the coronavirus, CNVC has lost its major source of revenue: in-person International Intensive Trainings (IITs) that are organized every year. 2. The spirituality of NVC

Nonviolent Communication is much more than a tool to improve our communication skills; it is also a spiritual practice. In this video with NVC connect, Robert Gonzalez talks about the spirituality of NVC.

3. What does needs awareness mean to us?

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to share NVC with the fellows of Rising Flame’s ‘I Can Lead’ program. Many of us have been taught that it’s not okay to ask for our needs to be met; and this conditioning can be greater for those who live with a disability. We spent our time together talking about what needs awareness means, and how we can use this awareness to meet our needs.
